We’re heading to Germany once more, sampling another Spätburgunder, also known as Pinot Noir. This particular wine hails from the Ahr region, renowned for its exceptional quality wines that, in my opinion, rival those from a very famous area in France!

Color
The wine boasts a striking intensity while maintaining its pure, clear innocence. It presents a stunning ruby red hue with crystal clarity.

The Nose
The bouquet reveals a medley of red berries and hints of dark fruits, intertwined with camphor and a subtle creaminess. There’s a distinct presence of roasted wine barrel, complemented by notes of coffee, white pepper, and dry earth.

The Palette
While the intensity of the cooler and nose isn’t fully sustained here, the quality remains impressive!

dandelion zest, rose, white pepper, red licorice, peas, currants, raspberry, plain yogurt, and coffee beans.
